TAU-SAT Team Wins First Place at TEKNOFEST 2025
The TAU-SAT Team, which includes students from our department, achieved great success by winning first place in Category 2 (TICOSAT: TÜRKSAT Picosatellite Constellation) at the TEKNOFEST Model Satellite Competition held in Aksaray on September 10–12, 2025.
Our Students Win the "Best Research Project First Place Award"
Our 4th-year students, Eylül Sıla Tüfekçi, Ömer Nedim Süzen, and Emir Almacık, have won the First Place Award in the "Best Research Project" category at the Undergraduate Student Project Competition, held as part of the 33rd IEEE Conference on Signal Processing and Communications Applications (SIU 2025), with their undergraduate graduation project.
Success of Our IEEE Turkish-German University Student Branch Team
The RestWatch team from the IEEE Turkish-German University Student Branch achieved a major success by winning first place in the "IEEE Region 8 IEEEDuino 2025 Student Hardware Contest".
Developments Regarding the Dual Degree with TU Berlin
The protocols for the Joint Undergraduate Degree Program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering between existing programs, signed between our university and the Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin), have been approved by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
Success in TÜBİTAK 2209-B Project Support
Enes Ayhan Balcıoğlu, a student of our department, has been awarded grant support under the TÜBİTAK 2209-B – Industry-Oriented Research Project Support Programme for Undergraduate Students.
Success in TUBİTAK Project Grant
Four grant applications submitted by our students were accepted and will be funded under the TÜBİTAK 2209-A and 2209-B programs. We congratulate our students and wish them every success in their work.
